Privacy policy
The short version: this site collects almost nothing, and the product is self-hosted. Your data lives on your infrastructure, not ours.
Pre-registration
If you pre-register, we store your email address, the source that brought you here (a referrer or campaign tag), your language, your consent, and a timestamp. We use it for exactly one purpose: telling you about the Backplane launch. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
Analytics
If analytics are enabled on this site, they are cookie-free and aggregate: page views and referrers, never profiles or cross-site tracking. We can't identify you from them.
The product itself
Backplane is self-hosted software. Instances you run process data on your infrastructure under your control; nothing flows to us. The platform ships with no telemetry collector; it phones nobody home by default.
Third parties
Pre-registration submissions are stored with the form provider we operate; we don't sell, share, or enrich the list. No advertising networks are involved anywhere on this site.
Your rights & contact
Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by replying to any email we've sent you; a person reads it.
