Plain terms for a simple site: information about Backplane, and a pre-registration list.
This site
Content here is informational and provided as-is. We keep it accurate (every product claim is meant to be verifiable) but it isn't a contractual promise of features, dates, or performance. Launch dates are targets gated on quality, and can move.
Pre-registration
Joining the list creates no obligation on either side: we email you about the launch, you can leave at any time. See the privacy policy for exactly what we store.
The software
Backplane itself is distributed under its own licenses (AGPL for the core, MIT for the runner) from the repository, once public. Those licenses, not this page, govern the software.
Names & marks
“Backplane” and “Valaris” identify our work. Third-party names on this site (Claude, Codex, GitHub and others) belong to their owners and imply no endorsement.
